NEW WEBSITE

Hi everyone,
In the next few weeks we’re going to be hitting the water in Catamarans in a big way, and we want to take you along for the ride by sharing videos, photos and more from our sailing.  To provide a better window to the action, we’ve created a new site at www.teamqftc.com that we think will help you feel like you’re on the water with us!  The site is still under development, so bear with us while we work out the kinks, but check it out for all of the lastest updates.
Best,
Quest For The Cup team

Featured Sailor of the Week: Mac Agnese

As soon as he could walk, Mac began to show signs of the athlete he would become. Before moving to Argentina at the age of five, he was already participating in several sports, including swimming and soccer. During his three years in Argentina, Mac continued to develop as an athlete. In the same club where his father grew up sailing, he started his career as a sailor, while actively competing in many others sports as well, such as rugby, soccer, tennis, swimming, and taekwondo.

In 2002, his family relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he made the decision to dedicate his time to sailing. He joined the Lauderdale Yacht Club sailing program and since then has been traveling all over the country and the world representing both the USA and LYC in many different disciplines. As cross training, Mac has continued to swim, play soccer, and do other activities, such as skating, skurfing, and cross fit. This past year, Mac spent much of his time coaching 29ers and competing in high school sailing. He also graduated from Fort Lauderdale High and will be studying Physics at Boston College in the fall.
